'Fleabag' Swoops Away TV Critics Awards

Not that we are surprised...

Fleabag

Is there anything Phoebe Waller-Bridge cannot do well? We hardly think so. Making a return with the second season of Fleabag after a hiatus, one wondered if the second season will be as good as the first one! Well, it was even better.

The Phoebe Waller-Bridge written and starrer series made a grand return with its second and final season recently and was unanimously loved by both critics and fans alike. So, it was a direct question as to how will the show perform when awards season begin.

It couldn't have had a better start as Fleabag has swooped away with major awards at the TV Critics Awards. The Amazon comedy Fleabag was the only multiple winner during the awards, taking home the prestigious program of the year prize and wins for best comedy series and individual achievement for her on-screen role. The series, which Waller-Bridge says will not continue after season two, won in all three categories in which it was nominated.
