According to our source, "The first eliminated contestant of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs is Debolina Halder. The decision is based purely on the opinion of judges- Abhijeet, Alka Yagnik and Kailesh Kher. So one cannot blame public opinion this time." Adds our source, "Debolina is an eighth standard student from Kolkata. The other contestants will definitely miss her company."

However this loss of the girls' team is balanced by a victory. So they need not feel all that low. "The champ of the day award was given to Shreysi Bhattachrajee," informs our source.

The show is a one of its kind and encourages kids within the age group of 8 to 13 and offers them a platform to showcase their singing talents. The winner would bag the title of Hero Honda Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L'il Champs and a singing contract worth Rs. 50 lakhs.
