Fire destroys Tuj Sang sets...

The beautiful sets of Star Plus’ show Tuj Sang Preet Lagaai Sajna was destroyed as the entire set was engulfed by fire few days back. The house of the female lead Vrinda aka Pooja Bose which was setup in Akraman Studios was indeed a sorrow state after the accident.

We called up the lead Kunal Verma to know more about the accident. “This was a major loss and we can’t even get over it. There was some kind of short circuit in the kitchen side of the set and all of a sudden, the whole place was in fire. Things went out of control and finally they had to call fire brigade for rescue. Luckily, the place where we were shooting was fine, and even our make-up room did not get affected”, recollects a grief-stricken Kunal.

The damage was so intense that eight fire brigades were rushed to the spot immediately. When contacted Abigael who is still shaken aback by the incident, she said, “I was in my make-up van, while Pooja and Kunal were busy shooting. All of a sudden, Pooja came running into the van and dragged me out. In no time, we were sent out of the sets. It was such a bad day, that we lost our beautiful home”.

The set has been shifted to another venue for the time being and the shoot has been resumed, but the actors can’t just get over the loss they have incurred.
