Finally! Ben Affleck Reveals Why He Left 'The Batman'

As the world continues to bask in the fact that Robert Pattinson is the new Batman and even more so keep raving about his look in the Batsuit, there was one story about an actor whose encounter with the character did not turn out to be as good as he would have expected it to be.

Ben Affleck did star as The Batman in two films but after constant backlash, Affleck quit playing the character and Pattinson has now taken over.

Finally, after all this while, Affleck reveals as to why did he left The Batman.

“I showed somebody The Batman script," Affleck said. "They said, 'I think the script is good. I also think you’ll drink yourself to death if you go through what you just went though again.'"

Affleck has moved on from the role, and next will be seen in the sports drama The Way Back, in which he plays a high school basketball coach struggling with alcoholism.
