Let's see what does Mitil have to share with us regarding his love for movies...
Do you like watching movies?
I just love watching movies.
How often do you watch a movie in theater?
I try and watch all the movies which seem to be appealing. For an actor, there is no Friday or Sunday as such. Therefore, I watch a movie in a theater as and when I get time. But mostly I watch it every Friday, first day first show. Also, I am not much fond of the multiplexes; instead I prefer to watch all the movies in a single screen theater. All the fun and crazy audience you get there, the same cannot be found in a multiplex.
Which is your all-time favorite movie?
Sanjeev Kumar's Naya Din Nai Raat.
Quick Fire: Which is your favourite?
Romantic movie: Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge
Action movie: Singham
Comedy movie: Angoor
Horror movie: Evil Dead
A movie that made you cry?
Actually I'm quite an emotional person, so almost every emotional scene makes me shed tears.
The last movie that you have watched?
Recently, I saw Chennai Express and personally I liked it very much. Its a full on time-pass movie with a tinge of good comedy. In addition, the well-executed action sequences, Shah Rukh Khan's alluring charm and Rohit Shetty's stereotypical touch of mindless comedy undoubtedly makes it a 'paisa vasool' movie.
A movie you wish you could be a part of?
I have also desired to be a part of a big budget movie, something like Chennai Express, Singham and Rowdy Rathore. Such movies are a perfect mixture of all the elements that make a movie loved by the audience.
An actor you wish to work with in a movie?
I really wish I could work with late actor Sanjeev Kumar. However, amongst the present ones I would love to work with Amitabh Bachchan and Naseeruddin Shah from Bollywood and Al Pacino from Hollywood.
Which movie are you looking forward to?
I don't know when it is going to be released, but Peekay is one movie which I'm really looking forward to.
If you could take someone on a date for a movie, who would you prefer?
To be frank, no one from the television industry, but given a chance I would really want to go on a date with Ayesha Takia for a movie.
