Kochi, Dec 28 (IANS) Songs of 'Kadha Parayumbol' and 'Kangaroo' make it to the charts this fortnight, but 'Killi Chundan' from 'Romeo' tops them all.

The top five Malayalam songs are:

1. 'Killi Chundan' - Film: 'Romeo'; Music Director: Alex Paul; Lyrics: Sarath Varma; Singers: Afzel and Sweth. A feel-good romantic song from a comedy, this song was bound to hit it off with the majority of listeners.

2. 'Maambulli' - Film: 'Kadha Parayumbol'; Music Director: M. Jayachandran; Lyrics: Anil Panachooran; Singer: Vineeth Sreenivasan. The song is picturised as a film shooting within the film. It also marks the comeback of Vineeth Sreenivasan on the music charts after a long gap.

3. 'Mazha manimukile ' - Film: 'Kangaroo'; Music: Saji Ram; Lyrics: Biju Kaipparedan; Singers: Vidhu Prathap, Rimi Tomy. The song serves as a filler in the film. The picturisation works here.

4. 'Chandamama' - Film: 'Rock n Roll'; Music: Vidyasagar; Lyrics: Gireesh Puthencherry; Singers: Anitha and Rija. After remaining on top for a few weeks, this song has made way for new entries.

5. 'Istamalle' - Film: 'Chocolate'; Music: Alex Paul. Lyrics: Sarath Varma. Singer: Shahabas Aman. A solitary song from this film remains here as the mark of the film's popularity.
