Farah Khan on choreographing Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor: 'Started career with Aamir and now..'

Choreographer-turned-director Farah Khan recently reflected on her incredible journey in Bollywood, emphasizing the special experience of collaborating with the next generation of stars. With decades of experience in the industry, Farah expressed the deep emotional bond she feels with the children of some of the iconic actors she once worked alongside.

Farah spoke about choreographing Junaid Khan, the son of Aamir Khan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of the late Sridevi. She shared her thoughts on the experience.

It was a surreal experience because literally, I think I was working with Aamir in Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar and after that Junaid was born. We all had gone to his house with Mansoor and everybody to congratulate him. Same with Sridevi also, I was quite close to her, Boney, and the whole Kapoor family. For me, it was very wonderful

Farah continued, “It just feels weird that I’ve been around for so long. I don't feel it. It's just that when I shoot with these guys, I realize that, oh my god, I started my career with Aamir and now I’m choreographing his son.”

Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s youngest daughter, Khushi Kapoor, along with Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta’s son, Junaid Khan, are actively promoting their upcoming film, Loveyapa. They recently had an interview with Faridoon Shahryar, where they participated in a lighthearted question and answer segment. When asked about the best romantic on-screen couple, Khushi quickly answered, “Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan.” Junaid immediately chimed in, saying, “That was my answer,” to which Khushi playfully replied, “I just stole the answer.”
