#Exclusive: I have a bit of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, reveals Sumeet Vyas of TVF Tripling 2

Veere Di Wedding fame Sumeet Vyas gets candid about the second season of TVF Tripling…

TVF Tripling is a web series which features three siblings, Chandan (Sumeet Vyas), Chitvan (Amol Parashar) and Chanchal (Manvi Gagroo) who are caught up with some or the other issues and end up on a road trip together.

Actor Sumeet Vyas who has enthralled the audience with his amazing performance in both web series and Bollywood movies like Permanent Roommates, TVF Tripling, Veere Di Wedding and Ribbon among others gets candid about the second season of Tripling and his journey.

About the new season of Tripling, Sumeet candidly said, "After the first season came out, most of the series that were being made, that were out were essentially about youngsters, kids having a good time or couples and relationships or about sex. So, we were not sure about how interested people would be to listen to the story about three siblings.

It took so long to write the second season because we didn't want to disappoint people who like the series and also, we didn't want to repeat what we have already done. We wanted to create a fresh story and a next step to this story and keep it entertaining and engaging enough for anyone who wants to watch the show and anybody who just want to watch the second season, they should still enjoy, in spite of not watching season 1 and yes, that was the tougher part."

On working with Maanvi Gagaroo and Amol Parashar and the entire team, he shared, "Coming together again was like coming home, this time we were more in-queued with each other, we had a good time and we really enjoyed each other's company more time this time. Last time, we were all trying to find some sort of ground, we were struggling in our own shoes. This time, we were more comfortable and a lot of fun we had on the shoot, the credit goes to Sameer Saxena. He is the Dhoni of filmmaking. He is just unfazed by anything, until I met him,  I thought, I was the calmest person and then, I saw him and now, I'm depressed. I think he is unbelievable."

Revealing about the similar traits he shares with Chandan, Sumeet added, "I relate to him a lot and I also have a tendency to see things in system and I like things in order, unlike my character in Permanent Roommates. I have a bit of an obsessive compulsive disorder, I'll come to hotel room wherever I'm travelling, its spic and span, exactly how it was when entered the room."

Apart from acting, Sumeet has co-written the series, talking about the challenges he faced in writing and acting together, he revealed, "Yes, writing and acting is a bit tricky because it's very difficult to write, once you know you are acting this part. So, actually most of my portions are essentially written by my co-writer, Akash Khurrana, as it makes things simpler but I enjoyed writing the story and I don't think I took any pressure of season one's success.

Also, when the first season came out, there were hardly any web series. Now, there are so many series out there but we didn't take that load. It's a very feel good sort of a series. Entertaining projects that you see like Bahubali, Avengers and then you want to see something like, this is us and they both hold equally special place in your heart. It makes you feel a certain way, it's very hard to describe that feeling. It's not entertainment, it's not just money, it's not just sad or fuzzy. It's a lot of things. So, that's what we wanted to achieve, we wanted to create situations where people can feel the love for their siblings.

Talking about his career as a dialogue writer, he shared, "I have been writing stuff and I wrote a series called, Love Per Square Foot. I wrote this other series called Band Baaja Baraat. So, I have been writing on and off and I want to write more. As of now, I'm getting more work for acting and can't spare time for writing.

When asked about his experience, working on different platforms and which was the best, he said, "Best experiences are the people that you work with. It doesn't matter what format you are working. I really enjoy working with TVF and Sameer and if he were making a film or a play, I would still enjoy working. Because once you go on shooting, it's the same setup. "

We wish Sumeet and his team all the luck for this new season.
