We got in touch with Gurmeet and the actor revealed a fact that would surely stun you. "Earlier, my role of Maan Singh Khurana was supposed to appear on screen very late. After saving Geet in a bare-bodied sequence, my appearance on the show was supposed to come way later. And thus I went for a mini vacation in Goa. But the moment the promo launched emails, messages, calls started bombarding with appreciations. While many were wondering who this guy is they realised I am Ram of Ramayan and they started flooding with more and sweeter words. Thus the makers instantly changed the track and they called me back and within 10 days I was back shooting. That scene changed the entire script and sequence and Maan Singh Khurana became a character that I guess everyone will remember," revealed the actor.

Sharing about his happiness on the show's completion of nine years, he further shared, "I am extremely elated and happy about it. It has been an extremely special show for me and will always remain so. Many actors call me and say that often directors give them an example of a romantic sequence or my aggression for a role and tell them that they want an exact copy of me (laughs). This show has given me the heroism and thus I am getting offers on silver screen. I cannot be thankful enough for Geet."
