Esha Deol shares a glimpse of a latest tattoo near her waist, explains the hidden meaning!

Actor-producer Esha Deol Takhtani, who has returned to the world of films after a hiatus has been impressing her fans with stylish social media posts. The 39-year-old actress has yet again left her fans amazed as she posted a snazzy picture of herself giving a glimpse of her latest tattoo. 

In the latest picture, Esha can be seen showing off her new waist tattoo which has its design inspired from Celtic art. Sharing the picture with her fans, the actress wrote, "Yes, you guessed right! “It’s real” - inked 2009"

This is Esha’s fourth tattoo and it goes much beyond being just a fashion statement and unlike all her tattoos it is etched with significance behind each of them.

Esha has two beautiful tattoos on her back. The one on her upper right shoulder, are lines from the Gayatri mantra. The other one on her left shoulder is a beautiful design of Om inked across.

Speaking of the meaning behind her tattoos, Esha was quoted by ETimes, as she said, 

"Every tattoo has a significance, and a story, right from my first one. It was done when I was just about entering high school. So I got a scorpion and a heart, and it really signifies that age and mindset of a teenager when you get yourself inked with your star sign. This was done at 16 in Soho London. Whenever I see that tattoo, it takes me back to that phase. My second tattoo is an Om with the sun and moon around it. It is in a beautiful indigo blue colour, and was done in Venice Beach, California, which is one of my most favourite places. The third one is the Gayatri mantra, a shloka that I recite regularly. It has a lot of power and significance to me. This one is on my right shoulder because I do a lot of work from my right arm."

Revealing about her fourth tattoo, Esha shared, 

“This one was done in Arambol by a very dear friend and a wonderful tattoo artiste named Judiceal. In fact, another dear friend has another half of this tattoo. So mine goes above, and hers goes below the waist, and it sort of completes our circle of friendship. In this particular tattoo, the best part is that all my tattoos are in places where it can be hidden or revealed.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Esha will be making her acting come back with a web show with Ajay Devgn. They have worked in several films together namely, LOC Kargil, Insaan, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Kaal, Yuva and Cash.
