Erica Fernandes who gained immense popularity for her role as Dr. Sonakshi Bose in the show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi is currently seen as Prerna in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The Actress has a huge fan following and has become a household name now. However, speaking to a leading portal, Erica revealed that personally, she is not really up for resuming shoots for multiple reasons.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Erica shared it's not a simple question of yes or no and there is a lot to it. She said that people have been out of work for a very long time and some do not have the luxury of making a choice if they should get back to work or not. However, she shared that if you ask her personally, she is not up for it atleast now, maybe a little later, yes.

Mentioning the reasons, Erica shared that firstly, we are just beginning to get out of the lockdown and there are high chances of a spike in the graph. Next, she added that we are entering the monsoon season where so many of us generally fall ill due to change in the weather and the symptoms of normal flu is very similar to the virus. This can create chaos and panic.

Thirdly, Erica stated that the Actors will have to shoot without a mask and so they are at a higher risk at work than anyone else. Also, there are studios in the vicinity which will have people shooting for multiple shows resulting in huge number of people working together.

Have to agree with her. I can think of two things. Firstly, shows can shift their sets in a safe green zone area. Secondly, shows can introuduce the COVID track in the show.
