Epic channel to be launched on November 18 and many ace production houses have lined up their shows to get launched on this channel.

Some time back there were reports in the media about a new channel Epic TV consisting of mythological and historical shows. The wait for the anticipated channel will be over now as the channel will be launched soon.

According to the reports it is the first segmented channel of India which focuses on Indian history, folklore and mythological genre. It has an original and unique story telling format, the founders of the company are Mr Anand Mahindra, Mr Mukesh Ambani and Mr Rohit Khattar.

Mr Mahesh Samath is the owner and the mastermind behind this channel's launch.

Our source says, "Epic Channel will be launched on November 18. Ace production houses like Balaji Telefilms, Endemol and Sa Re Re Ga Ma have their shows lined up on the channel. The show will showcase all the mythological shows."
