Ekta ropes in yet another model, Wasim Faras...

Zee’s Kasamh Se seems to have finally got the actor to play Ganga’s love interest, Yuvraj!!

As reported earlier, newcomer Tarul was to play this role, but just a week back, Telly Buzz broke the news that Nishant Shokeen of Durgesh Nandini fame has bagged this cameo. But it now looks like the creative team has had a last minute change to make, and after models Jai Kalra and Haroon Kazi, it is the turn of yet another model, Wasim Faras that gets into the Balaji family!!

Wasim who is a successful model has been seen in ads for Reliance, Amul Milk Shake etc. The aspiring actor was also seen in a music video of Hans Raj Hans. “I have been looking for roles in television. To tell you frankly, I have gone thro’ 3-4 auditions prior to this, but when I got a call from Balaji Telefilms I grabbed it with both hands”, says Wasim.

The actor seems to be elated as this will be his first acting assignment. “I play a positive character, a rich businessman who is the love interest of Ganga (Priya Bathija)”, quips he. The actor will be making his entry on August 25th, Monday..

As Telly Buzz reported earlier, Yuvraj’s character will be a cameo that will get negative as the story proceeds. A little birdie from the production house reasons out that the last-minute decision to cast Wasim in place of Nishant happened as Ekta was very much impressed with Nishant Shokeen’s audition and has decided to give him a full-fledged role in another serial.

Well, Ekta’s penchant to cast good-looking models and add the ‘negative’ spice to their on-screen character continues…
