Ekta Kapoor's Vivek Dahiya-Karishma Tanna starrer gets its antagonist!

Recently, reports have been doing the rounds that Ekta Kapoor will soon be producing a 100 episode thriller series, which is an adaptation of Beauty and The Beast, for Star Plus.  We already know that she has roped in her Balaji protege Vivek Dahiya, who has been a part of Balaji shows like Yeh Hai Mohabbatein and Kavach... and Asmita Sood.  

However, yesterday, it was reported that Asmita was replaced by Ekta's Naagin 3 actress Karishma Tanna. When we contacted Asmita, she told us that she was yet to communicate with the production team as it had been a while and Karishma Tanna said that she was still in talks and that nothing concrete had materialised.

And while the spot for the female lead is still not finalised, Ekta has roped in her main antagonist and it is none other than actor Nirbhay Wadhwa.

Nirbhay, whose claim to fame was the titular role in Sony TV's Sankat Mochan Mahabali Hanuman, has been roped in to play the main antagonist in Ekta Kapoor's thriller.

We contacted Nirbhay, but he told us that, "Talks are on and nothing has been confirmed yet."
