Durga's character motivates me to work harder - Sanjeeda Shaikh

While she portrays the character of a strong headed and determined girl Durga in Star Plus' Ek Haisn Thi, the beautiful actress Sanjeeda Sheikh who was applauded for her stint in Kayamath for a grey shade character and now portraying a similar kind a role in the ongoing show speaks to us about her character, immense love and appreciation she has received  from her fans and more.

Here are Sanjeeda's answers -

Your character is riding high with the success and popularity. So how does it feel to gain that much of popularity?

It feels that Sanjeeda Shaikh has taken a rebirth in the industry, the character of Durga has become so famous that it feels nice and I am very happy with it as it motivates me to work more harder.

You have done many shows on television like Kayamath, Badalte Rishton ki Daastan and now you are doing a promising show EK Hasina Thi, so how has the difference been working in these shows?

The popularity that I have gained from Ek Hasina Thi and from my character Durga Thakur has been commendable. People like the way I am performing, they love the story as well as the  characters in the show. So it feels great to get so much of positive response.

Is there any similarity between Sanjeeda and Durga?

Not very similar as Durga has a motive. She has to take revenge for her sister Payal (Teena CHopra) and for Sanjeeda there is no revenge story in her life. But yes Durga and Sanjeeda both are very strong and focused girls which is the only quality common in them.

You are working with some of the noted co-stars in your show. How has the experience been working with them?

These senior actors are nice and I am blessed to work with such great people. I love working with Ayub Khan, he is a gem person who spreads positivity all around then there is pretty lady Simone Singh who is mind blowing and a fantastic actor. They pamper me a lot and take care of me every time. Even my co-actors are great and fun to be with. 

Ek Hasina Thi picked up its pace quickly and got fame for you. So what do you have to say about that?

You never know how the response of show will be after a week or two whether it is doing well or not but I am glad that the response has been amazing and we are getting lot of love for our show.
