Drashti Dhami tests positive for COVID-19

Drashti Dhami has tested positive for COVID-19 and she took to social media to reveal the same. She shared a photo of watching her show 'The Empire' with a bunch of other things that are essentials and also keeping her going as she fights the third wave of the virus. 

Drashti wrote: Just some good things to keep me company as I fight the 3rd wave! Luckily, I can smell those lilies and enjoy that Twix  Counting on these blessings! Now accepting love and good food P.S Also not so subtle plug of a good show on streamers!

Earlier today, Ekta Kapoor also mentioned she has tested positive for COVID-19 and Delnaaz Irani too, revealed that she too, has tested positive for the virus. Among others, who recently tested positive also include Nakuul Mehta, John Abraham, Nora Fatehi, etc.

The Omicron variant in India has caused a series of spike in cases across the country, with Maharashtra and Delhi being among the worst hit states. Though curbs have been put in place and precautionary measures continue to be circulated, the cases are on the rise and a cause of worry.
