Tamil cinema’s latest sensation, Dragon, is all set to make its digital debut after a phenomenal theatrical run. Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu, the film, which received widespread acclaim from both critics and audiences, will be available for streaming on Netflix starting March 21. The movie will be accessible in multiple languages, including Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam, allowing a broader audience to experience its compelling storyline.

Netflix officially announced the streaming date through its social media platforms, generating excitement among fans eagerly waiting for the online release. They took to Instagram with an intriguing post, stating, “Some dragons don’t breathe fire, because their comebacks are hotter. Watch Dragon on Netflix, out 21 March in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.”

Dragon first hit the big screens on February 21 and opened to highly positive reviews. The film started strong at the box office, collecting Rs 6 crore on its first day. Over the course of its 25-day theatrical run, the movie managed to earn Rs. 98.73 crore net domestically, with a worldwide collection reaching an impressive Rs. 146.97 crore. Given its outstanding performance, industry experts have labeled it a ‘blockbuster.’

The film follows the journey of Ragavan, played by Pradeep Ranganathan, a once-disciplined and bright student who undergoes a drastic transformation after experiencing heartbreak. His sorrow leads him down an unexpected path, pushing him into the dark world of financial fraud.

The movie’s success in the South Indian film industry can be attributed to its engaging screenplay, strong performances, and emotional depth.
