"Don't create drama": Sonam Kapoor clarifies that she wasn't defending sister Janhvi Kapoor

Recently, Katrina Kaif appeared on Neha Dhupia's chat show BFFs with Vogue and during her interaction when she was asked which celebrity goes OTT in his/her gym and workout looks, Katrina said, "I am concerned about the very, very short shorts that Jahnvi Kapoor wears! She comes to my gym as well, so we, often are together in the gym. I just worry about her sometimes."

Soon after the show was aired, a few hours later, Janhvi's cousin sister and actress Sonam Kapoor posted a story on her Instagram with a collage of Janhvi's photos where in she can be seen wearing shorts and captioned it: "She also wears regular clothes and rocks it."

This post by Sonam got misunderstood by a few media houses who instantly put up articles stating 'Sonam comes out in defense of sister Janhvi'.

Irked by all the stories created by the media, Sonam has now clarified her stance and revealed that she wasn't defending Janhvi. She took to her social media account and posted: "Guys I wasn’t defending janhvi over something my very dear friend Katrina might have innocently said. It’s an inside joke with my sister on her gym looks that get papped. Pls don’t create drama mediawallas."

While we know Sonam never shies away from speaking her mind, this time the actress was completely misunderstood. The five Kapoor sisters - Sonam, Rhea, Janhvi, Khushi and Anshula have a strong bond and always have each others back!
