Diya Aur Baati Hum celebrates the score of 5.9!

The team of Star Plus’ Diya Aur Baati Hum celebrates the TRP of 5.9 by cutting a cake on the sets…

Still of Suraj and Sandhya from Diya Aur Baati HumShashi Sumeet Mittal's Diya Aur Baati Hum which recently enjoyed a grand celebration on the completion of their 400 episodes, got another chance to celebrate after getting a TRP of 5.9. The team cut a cake on the sets and celebrated their victory. The show had some of the high points this week when Swamiji was exposed by Sandhya (Deepika Singh) and Suraj (Anas Rashid) Sandhya celebrated their 1stwedding anniversary. All these sequences lead the show towards getting an whooping TRP of 5.9.

We spoke to director Rohit Raj Goyal to know more about it and he says, "The reason of this great score has to be its storyline. Our target audience can relate to the story from their day to day lives. Swamiji was exposed this week and we all enjoyed shooting the sequence very much. The sequence gave a conclusion to the audience that one can believe in the saints but not make it a part of their life."

Thanking his team of writers, Rohit added, "Hats off to the team of writers, with whose effort, we have touched the TRP of 5.9 and I wish we could sustain it in future too. The credit also goes to the actors and the creative team too. If the storyline wouldn't have been strong the directors would not have been able to shoot it beautifully and the audience would not have supported it. So it is all connected to each other."

We wish the entire team of Diya Aur Baati Hum hearty congratulations on this success!
