Divyanka Tripathi laments how Vivek Dahiya's career slowed after marrying her? Says, 'Highly disturbing'

Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya are one of the most adored couples of TV town. The two got married in 2016 in a dreamy ceremony in Bhopal. Divyanka Tripathi is best known for her shows like Dulhan Banoo Main Teri and Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. She has been doing web shows too. Her husband Vivek Dahiya who was last seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will be seen in Hasratein 2. He is doing the web series for Hungama. Gulki Joshi and Vinit Kakar are also a part of the same. Vivek has been working in a number of shows but the actress lamented how people did not see his talent.

The actress told Hindi Rush that she was troubled seeing how people ignored Vivek Dahiya and just focused on her. She said she found it disturbing. The actress said that like her, even her husband Vivek Dahiya come from some other city to make his career as an actor. She said everything was going well for him until they got married. Divyanka Tripathi said that she felt bad not only as a wife but also as an actor. She said it hurts when people do not recognize the hard work he too has put in his career.

Divyanka Tripathi and Vivek Dahiya met on the sets of Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. Their common friend suggested that they should meet with the idea of marriage. Both of them were not keen on casual dating. Vivek Dahiya said that he always felt that Divyanka Tripathi would be a bit aloof and orthodox. But days into the conversation, he understood that she had a truly global perspective. Divyanka said she often felt that maybe she was the biggest barrier in her husband’s success. Vivek Dahiya has done shows like Kavach and Qayamat Ki Rata for Ekta Kapoor’s banner.
