Divya Malik to feature on Code Red!

Actress Divya Malik, who was last seen in Big Magic's Love Dosti Dua, is again trying her hand at doing episodics. While the actress has acted in episodics like Crime Patrol, Savdhaan India - India Fights Back.

Our source informs us, "Divya will be seen in the upcoming episode of Code Red Aawaz that is produced by Sunshine Productions. The story will be of a struggling actress who stays in Indore and to fulfill her dreams of becoming an actress, she reaches Mumbai. Despite making all the efforts to make a place in the industry, she however fails to do so and hence compromises for acquiring a job. Later, Divya is trapped in a MMS case by the producer and a casting person. The story will unfold as how Kabir (Yash Sinha) will fight back and seek justice for her."

We contacted Divya and she confirmed it saying, "Yes, I will be seen in the upcoming episode of Code Red. I am playing the role of a struggling actress who comes to Mumbai to fulfill her dreams and ends up compromising for the same. It's a very different and heart wrenching story which appealed me a lot."
