Actors and the entire unit of Zee TV's Sanjog Se Bani Sangini can finally breathe a sigh of relief as the tough task master in director Mr. Dharmesh Shah has been replaced from the show.
The grape wine says that the director used to publicly humiliate his actors over poor shoots.

An insider from the sets informed us that, "One actor who always got under the scanner was Binny Sharma. The director used to imitate the walk pattern and posture of Binny in front of every unit member and that used to embarrass the girl. She being a new comer had a rough encounter at the initial project itself."
"The shoot had even come to a standstill when Binny Sharma broke down after a nasty lash out by Shah and refused to emerge from her vanity van", added the insider.
Another target of the director was actress Samta Saxena who plays Sunheri (Binny's mother). Apparently, Samta stormed off the set following a fierce altercation with Shah.
Our source reported, "Samta requested the director to mind his language and tone down after he spoke to her rudely saying "Don't waste my shots with your poor acting for God's sake! The actress had even threatened to quit the show if the director was not immediately replaced. The situation, however, was diffused when Shah was made to apologize to her a while later."
Our source from the industry also reported that, "The poduction house was requesting the channel to change the director from a long time. The channel was initially hesitant about taking such a staunch step as they felt no director could deliver what he was capable of."
But now we hear that ultimately the production house has convinced the channel to get in a new director.
Making matters complicated, Dharmesh used to get along well with the hero of the show Iqbal Khan who is quite friendly on sets and Additi Gupta who has a very professional attitude towards work.
Looks like a typical case of the Director throwing his weight around the lesser established members of the cast while befriending the big shots on the sets.
