Yesteryear actor Dilip Kumar's brother Aslam Khan passed away on Friday morning. Aslam, 88, was suffering from diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease. He had also tested positive for Covid-19.

Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital confirmed the news of Aslam Khan's demise. ANI quoted the Hospital as saying:

“Aslam Khan, younger brother of veteran actor Dilip Kumar passed away early morning today. He had diabetes, hypertension and ischaemic heart disease and had tested positive for #COVID19: Lilavati Hospital, Mumbai #Maharashtra”

Dilip Kumar's brothers, Aslam and Eshan Khan, were rushed to Lilavati Hospital last Saturday after they complained of breathlessness. The two also underwent tests for Coronavirus and had tested positive for the novel virus. They were immediately admitted at the coronavirus ward of the hospital and their oxygen saturation had dropped below 80%.

Several reports of their critical condition made headlines until Aslam Khan breathed his last today morning. Eshan Khan, 90, continues to be in the critical condition.
