'Remakes Pe Remakes, Remakes Pe Remakes' might be echoing in the minds of Indian audience as almost everyday a filmmaker either announces a remake of a south film, a remake of an old classic or a remake of any international project.

With many remakes coming our way, the one which has got everyone excited is the Satte Pe Satta remake in which Hrithik Roshan will reprise the role of Amitabh Bachchan under the direction of Farah Khan. Also, the film has been in talks due to the speculation over its leading lady. Earlier, Katrina Kaif and Kriti Sanon were also considered but soon these reports were refuted by the makers.

However, Farah was keen to cast Deepika Padukone opposite Hrithik in the remake of this 1982 classic as Deepika and Hrithik have never come together on screen. However, Deepika won't be able to do the film as the actress' work schedule is quite busy and she has no dates to spare until 2021.

A source close to Deccan Chronicle revealed that Farah might sign a debutante opposite Hrithik, rather than a tried and tested pairing. This might be bad news for Deepika fans as they were keen to see the actress opposite Hrithik on screen.

Meanwhile, Deepika has wrapped up the shoot of her upcoming film Chhapaak which is based on the life of acid attack survivor Laxmi Aggarwal. The film also stars Vikrant Massey and is helmed by Meghna Gulzar. The actress is currently busy with Kabir Khan's '83 in which she will be portraying the role of Kapil Dev's wife opposite her real-life husband Ranveer Singh.

Stay tuned for more updates.
