It is no secret how actors Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have not only had stellar careers so far but also been couple goals for so many out there. A love story that began a decade plus ago and transpired into a dreamy marriage five years ago. In fact, their recent appearance together on Koffee With Karan Season 8 sparked the maximum conversation for the right and wrong reasons.
Nevertheless, Padukone has continued to break barriers and be a global icon too which includes being on the Cannes jury panel last year, presenting at the Oscars, and most recently being on the cover of a global magazine as well. In fact, in a recent interview with Vogue Singapore, Padukone went on to talk about multiple things, including how Indian personalities have come a long way from not being recognised to being the face of one of the biggest luxury houses in the world. Padukone also mentioned how she feels especially proud because she did so on her own terms while staying loyal to her culture and heritage.
"When I meet the people I have grown up with, they always mention how I haven't changed one bit. That says a lot about our upbringing. My family keeps me grounded, and Ranveer and I hope to inculcate the same values in our children," Padukone said.
This led to the question being asked if Padukone is planning to become a mother; she replied with a smile saying, "Absolutely. Ranveer and I love children. We look forward to the day when we will start our own family."
When it comes to her work front, Padukone has Fighter lined up for release later this month and also has mega projects, Singham Again and Kalki 2698 AD and the remake of The Intern lined up ahead.
