Few days back Tellybuzz reported about Dakssh Ajit Singh, who essayed first gay character on Indian television, quitting Maryaada Lekin Kab Tak? as according to him there was no growth with the character. But because of that Karaan Singh, who essayed his gay partner, will also have to feel the heat.

A source reveals, "Karaan Singh who essayed, the gay partner of Gaurav (Dakssh Ajit Singh) was ready to continue with the show but just because Dakssh Ajit Singh wanted to leave the show, Karan's character too came to an end."

"As Dakssh took an exit from the show, the creative axed Karan's character and sent both Gaurav and Karan abroad. But indirectly, it turned out to be a loss for Karaan Singh,"adds the source.

We contacted Karaan Singh who says, "I believe everything happens for the best and there might be something good in it. Though I was not willing to leave Maryada, my track ended which led to my exit from the show."

When asked Karaan about taking up any other show, he says, "Right now I am on leave and I would make this time useful for me. There are things in the pipeline but that would materialize only after IPL."

Hope Karaan's loss turns into profit soon.
