Creator Raghav Sharma on his identity beyond mimicking Akshaye Khanna & working with Kusha Kapila

It's a world of actors and creators, and in the past few years, we saw a sudden rise in how creators have ventured into more relevant forms of acting, like movies or web shows. Amazon miniTV recently unveiled a new young-adult drama series, 'Dehati Ladke,' adapted from a bestselling Hindi novel. The show follows Rajat's journey from the quaint village of Gonda to the vibrant city of Lucknow. Since its debut, the audience has warmly embraced the series, praising it extensively. 

Recently, India Forums divulged in a conversation with Raghav Sharma, popular on Instagram for mimicking actor Akshaye Khanna with his reels. 

When questioned, does he feel that he has made an identity of himself as "the boy who makes Akshaye Khanna" reels and is he rugged enough to break that and try something new?

To this, he exclaimed, "I mean yes, I know that I am doing this, and it actually feels good also that people are liking my content and appreciating me for that and yes, during my initial days of meeting new people, I was referred to with this phrase, but as soon as I began shooting for the show, people started knowing me as Raghav Sharma."

He added, 

"And this is what I am here for. I want to act, explore more and do all this as Raghav Sharma."

Further, when asked about his bond with Kusha Kapila, he said, 

"She is a lovely, warm and welcoming person. All the cast members of 'Dehati Ladke' used to chill together post shoot and we all used to have a lot of fun. I also connected to Kusha because both of us are from Delhi and aspire to our careers in Mumbai, so ya, that makes a difference, and it was a great experience working with her."

Talking about the show 'Dehati Ladke', it's cast, directed by Prashant Singh, includes Abhijeet Sinha, Kusha Kapila, Asif Khan, Shine Pandey, and Raghav Sharma in pivotal roles.
