Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his wife, Aaliya Siddiqui, have been in a legal battle for divorce and custody of their two children, Shora and Yani. The latest court ruling has favoured Nawazuddin, who had filed a habeas corpus petition alleging that his children were missing school in the UAE, where they were staying with their mother.

The court has ordered that Shora and Yani should return to Dubai to complete their studies and will be accompanied by their mother, Aaliya. However, the couple's lawyers have stated that certain compliance issues must be ironed out between the two parties, which will be discussed in the chamber hearing.

According to reports, Nawazuddin has been asked to join his family in Dubai after he finishes his shoots. The next hearing in the case is scheduled for Wednesday.

According to a report from Etimes, the family has stated that Shora is not keen on returning to Dubai, as she feels she will be bullied there. The incident has taken a toll on her, and Aaliya has been taking her to therapy sessions. Shora wants to stay with her mother, but the matter remains pending in court.

For the unversed, Nawazuddin Siddiqui's divorce case with Aaliya Siddiqui has been making headlines for a long time. The two have levelled several allegations against each other so far. Earlier, Aaliya claimed that Nawazuddin 'disowned' their children and alleged that the actor's mother, Mehrunisa, harassed her by not giving her access to the actor's Mumbai home. Later, the actor also claimed that his estranged wife only wanted money, a charge denied by Aaliya.
