Comedy is my forte - Manoj Chandila

The very talented Manoj Chandila, earlier seen on shows such as Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil and Maati Ki Banno, has done some remarkable performance in his career. But when it comes to essaying roles on television, Manoj has a long way to go.

While the actor recently shot for Bollywood movie Gabbar Is Back, we spoke to him about his experience shooting for the film and his take on star celebrity Akshay Kumar.

Manoj said, “I essayed the character of an antagonist, Vikas Patil in the film. I feel Akshay Kumar is the only actor in Bollywood who is so grounded by nature.”

While Manoj was recently seen in Sony TV’s Aahat, we got him talking about his plans of doing daily soaps.

He averred, “I want to actively be a part of television and Bollywood both. I really liked my character in Na Aana Iss Desh Laado where I essayed a Haryanvi cop. But I feel comedy is my forte and I would be glad if I get an opportunity to essay a cop in the comedy space. “
