The buzz about Shakuntalam Telefilms' show on COLORS, Bandhan Saat Janmon Ka nearing its conclusion has been on for a while now!!

If sources are to be believed, Bandhan is now all set to shut shop on June 26th, and Rajan Shahi's new show Maat Pita Ke Charnon Main Swarg is pitted to replace it.

Confirming the news of Bandhan ending, Producer Shyamashis Bhattacharya said, "Yes, the last telecast date of Bandhan is on 26th June 2009. I have no issues with it ending, as we have completed one year and the story had also come to a logical end".

According to our source, "Rajan Shahi's new show will most probably be given the 7.30 PM slot as the channel wants to throw a solid competition to Zee's Choti Bahu and Star Plus' newly launched show Mitwa".

We called Rajan Shahi, but he remained unavailable for comments.

As for now, its surely curtains for Bandhan…
