Close friend Sanjay Gupta thinks biopic on Sanjay Dutt's isn't needed!

Director Sanjay Gupta who is one of the close friends of Sanjay Dutt says that there is no need to make a biopic on Sanju's life. According to him, Sanjay is still working as a hero in the industry and almost everyone knows about his life story.

Gupta was quoted saying, "I don't think the biopic should be made. He is very much around and will be coming back as a hero to films. So what is the need? He has had an interesting life and everyone knows about it." (sic)

The director thinks that Ranbir Kapoor is the best choice for essaying the character of Sanjay Dutt in Rajkumar Hirani's film. He said, "Ranbir will look the part to a certain level. Young Sanju had so much of innocence on his face and that is there on Ranbir's face as well. And Ranbir is one of the best actors that we have today who can pull off anything." (sic)

When quizzed if there is any part of him in the film as he shares a good bond with Sanju Baba, he says,"There will be no character of mine in the film. I want to be the hero and not the hero's friend." (sic)

The film will go on floors this month with Ranbir Kapoor essaying the role of Dutt and Sonam Kapoor will be seen as his former lover!
