Choreographer Shruti Merchant Blessed With a Baby Girl

It's a girl for choreographer Shruti Merchant and husband actor, Dhruv Bhandari. Yes! That's right. Merchant and Bhandari tied the knot back in 2017 and have now become proud parents to a baby girl.

In an interview with Bombay Times, Bhandari said, “Shruti and I are ecstatic. The feeling is so overwhelming, it’s difficult to describe.”

Surprisingly, not many knew about Merchant's pregnancy and when asked if it was intentionally kept a secret, Bhandari said,  “That definitely wasn’t the intention. It was just that I was inactive on social media. I did share a few posts during the pregnancy, but mostly, we just wanted to enjoy the journey on our own.”

When asked if they have sealed on a name as of yet, he said,  “We wanted to see her and hold her first. We do have a few names in mind though, so let’s see."

We wish the couple loads of congratulations and good health for the baby and the mother.
