Chinki-Minki's Samriddhi Mehra reveals ex boyfriend confusing her with Surabhi: 'Mujhe hi chugli kar di usne…'

The twin duo Chinki Minki, aka Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra, are set to surprise fans by entering the reality TV scene with the show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon. Known for their playful banter, comic timing, and energetic twin chemistry, Chinki Minki have won hearts with their entertaining on-screen performances.

Viewers will see the genuine, unfiltered side of Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra (Chinki Minki) for the first time as they enter the show Chhoriyan Chali Gaon as solo contestants instead of a duo. Chinki and Minki, usually seen playing quirky characters together, will now compete separately in the village-themed reality show, leading to fun, confusion, and entertainment.

“Now we both are single but when we used to date earlier, we would create troubles purposely. The guy wouldn’t even get to know," she told News18 Showsha. “We loved to make people mad by swapping. There was this one time when I was dating a guy and he complained about me to me only thinking it is Surabhi. Mujhe hi chugli kar di usne and I listened to him also. I agreed saying ‘haa woh to aisi hi hain.’"

“I will die if Chinki Minki ever split up. Hum dono kabhi alag nahin ho sakte. Many people have tried to separate us honestly but hmne uss insaan ko hi alag kar dia," she said.

Samriddhi is welcoming rural life with open arms, though she's doing so with a bit of stylish preparation. “I have carried mostly comfortable outfits yet chic," she added. “City life toh bhot jee li abb bari hain gaon me rehne ki. But my glam will never go out."

On July 3, 2025, Chinki Minki (Surabhi and Samriddhi Mehra) posted on their official Instagram account. They announced in the post that they've chosen to go their separate ways and will now focus on exploring life individually.

Taking their IG account, the duo shared, "With a heavy heart, we are now parting our ways as Jodi. We’ve decided to explore life on our individual journeys from here on."
