Indeed, it's a proud moment for the pretty and talented lady of Telly Town - Mugdha Chaphekar.

Mugdha, who is currently seen on SAB TV's popular show Saheb Biwi Aur Boss had recently done a Marathi movie 'The Silence', and she was well appreciated for her performance in the movie. The actress' hard work has paid off as she has won one of the most prestigious awards for her performance in the movie.

Mugdha has won the prestigious Maharashtra State Award for the Best Actress Debut in her Marathi movie 'The Silence' and she is overjoyed with this achievement. Sharing her happiness with TellyBuzz, Mugdha says, "I am elated and I have no words on winning the most prestigious award of the state. It's the biggest award of the state and I am extremely happy with winning it. I am very happy with getting nominated itself and winning it is like Sone Pe Suhaga for me. Hard work has paid off and everyone's good wishes have worked. I had Goosebumps when my name was announced and firstly, I thanked God, and then I went on stage to take my award. My Mom and brother were there, and they were extremely happy with this achievement of mine. Even Ravish (Ravish Desai) was extremely happy; he called me before I could call him and told me that he knew that I would win it. He has been saying this to me since the day I was nominated."

Now my movie is going for the Cannes (14^th May at 1:30 pm), New York Indian Film Festival (8^th May at 6:15 pm), Imagine India International Film Festival, Madrid (19^th May at 7:30 pm) and in the Habitat Film Festival in Delhi (7^th May at 6 pm). It's a great feeling to see your movie going for the Cannes and the New York Indian Film Festival, and I am feeling extremely happy about it."
