Central Board of Film Certification urges Pathaan makers to make changes to the film & songs
Reportedly, the CBFC has asked the Pathaan makers to make certain changes in the film.

According to Prasoon Joshi, chair of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), the film's producers have been told to make "changes" to Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer "Pathaan." According to board norms, the CBFC has requested that production company Yash Raj Films submit a revised version of the spy action thriller. He made no mention of the adjustments that were offered to the makers.
Well post the release of the song "Besharam Rang," which also features Deepika Padukone, "Pathaan" encountered controversy and calls for a ban. India saw protests because a portion of the song featuring Deepika in a saffron bikini was supposedly offensive to "Hindu feelings."
According to reports from PTI, Prasoon also said, "The movie recently received certification from the CBFC examination committee. The movie underwent a full and thorough examination process in accordance with CBFC norms. Before the movie is released in theatres, the committee has instructed the filmmakers to make the suggested modifications, including those to the songs, and submit the amended version."
The aim of the CBFC, Joshi said, was to strike a balance between creativity of the makers and sentiments of the audience and accordingly find a solution.
For the unversed, a complaint has also been filed before a court in Bihar's Muzaffarpur district, seeking the registration of an FIR against Shah Rukh, Deepika and others for "hurting religious sentiments" of Hindus in the song.
Talking about the film,.Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham have come together for the first time in Pathaan. The film is directed by Siddharth Anand and bankrolled by Yash Raj Films. It is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe. The movie is scheduled for release on Republic Day weekend, along with dubbed versions in Tamil and Telugu.
