The 70 mm screen has found many ardent lovers who try their luck year after year to find their place in it. Some get 'Luck(y) by chance' and some 'Dance pe chance' but only a few of them 'Rock on' till the 'Lakshya.'
 
Today, we have  a few of those stars who inch by inch made their way from media's most powerful weapon Tellywood to media's most loved Bollywood!These stars started off with the small screen but captured the silver screen by their charm, persona, acting and sheer talent.
 
So lets walk back the memory lane and find a few of these navratn.
 
 
Vinay Pathak
Who can ever forget 'Vinny Sir' of one of television's most successful teenage drama Hip Hip Hurray.Vinay Pathak went on to establish himself in the genre of comedy and became an eminent face on television.
 
Starting off with small roles in 'Khosla ka Ghosla', Johnny gaddar and Aaja Nachle, Pathak found his 70mm of screen with 'Bheja Fry,' followed by the cool dude in 'Rab ne bana di jodi.'
 
Still moving ahead, Vinay Pathak has definitely made a place for himself with the audiences.
 
Irrfan Khan
A few would know that the man who captivated the international audience just as much as the Desi's started off his career with television serials like 'Banegi Apni Baat,' 'Sara jahan humara,' 'Chanakya,' and many more.Later he graduated into Bollywood and earned the critics and audience heart with his realistic character portrayals and the intensity of his acting.
 
After successful ventures like 'The Namesake' and commercial movies like 'Life in a Metro' and 'Billu,' Irrfan has booked a place in Hollywood with his performance in Oscar 'Slumdog Millionare.'
 
Still going strong, Irrfan Khan is a Bollywood star who has emerged from the folds of Tellywood.
 
Prachi Desai
The ever popular bahu 'Bani' of Indian Television, Prachi broke the 'sati-savitri' image by her participation and victory in the Indian version of 'Dancing with the Stars,' 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa-Season 2' and participation in 'Yeh Hai Jalwa.'
 
Just like she created a bang with her television debut, Prachi's Bollywood journey started off with a dhamaka as she played the sheek, uber-cool wife to Farhan Akhtar in one of the year's biggest blockbusters 'Rock On.'
 
Going strong, Prachi is looking forward to sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi and Tusshar Kapoor in her upcoming movies.
 
 
R.Madhavan
Madhavan or Maddy as he is popularly known, fired up his career with the likes of 'Banegi Apni Baat' and 'Ghar Jamaai.'
 
An immensely popular actor down south, Maddy has also tasted success in B-Town with his performances in Rang De Basanti, Guru, Mumbai Meri Jaan, and the very recent 13B.Still cementing his place his in Bollywood, Maddy is very famous especially among the ladies!
 
Vidya Balan
Who can forget 'Radhika Mathur' one of the 5 sisters in one of the most entertaining shows on television 'Hum Paanch'. From then to now, we see a huge change in Vidya from the weight to the 'weight in the acting'. 
 
Vidya started her career with power packed performances in 'Baalo Theko' and 'Parineeta' and followed it up with cracker performances in 'Lage Raho Munnabhai,' 'Guru,' 'Salaam-E-Ishq' and many more.
 
After sharing screen space with big wigs like SRK, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan in a short span of time, Vidya has made it to the A-list of Bollyactors.
 
Rajeev Khandelwal
The cute, cynical, sarcastic Sujal (Oh did I mention 'Cute'??) of the Balaji camp 'Kahiin Toh Hoga' won the hearts of millions in an instant.  Rajeev's honest portrayal of 'Sujal' made him one of the most loved and popular actors on television.
 
Continuing with 'Deal Ya No Deal,' 'Time Bomb 9/11,' and the dreamy Capt. Rajveer Singh Shekhawat of 'Left Right Left,' Rajeev only extended his fan base.
 
In 2008, Rajeev 'bombed' his way into Bollywood with the critically and commercially successful 'Aamir' in which he essayed the role of Aamir Ali, a man whose family had been kidnapped and to save them he had to run errands.
 
Trying to win over Bollywood just as he captured television, Rajeev will be seen in the upcoming movie 'Peter Gaya Kaam Se.'
 
 
Shahrukh Khan
Moving to the final name on this list, we have the ever charming and endearing Badshah Khan, Shahrukh Khan.SRK first spread his magic over television with the successful portrayal of Commando Abhimanyu Rai in the serial 'Fauji.'He went on to appear in several other TV shows like 'Circus.'
 
After giving the television actors a run for their money, SRK made his way into Bollywood and the rest is history as its known.Landmark movies like Baazigar, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jaayenge, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, Karan Arjun, Dil to Pagal Hai, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and many many more saw SRK reel his magic into them.
 
44 and still going strong, it looks like the young Bollywood brigade still has a long way to give the Badshah a run for his money.
