Capital to host short films fest on environment
New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) A short films festival called WED'11 will showcase solution-oriented movies to celebrate the World Environment Day. Mike Pandey's 'Shores of Silence: Whale Sharks in India' will open the one evening-long festival Sunday.

New Delhi, May 31 (IANS) A short films festival called WED'11 will showcase solution-oriented movies to celebrate the World Environment Day. Mike Pandey's 'Shores of Silence: Whale Sharks in India' will open the one evening-long festival Sunday.
The festival is being organised by Filmbooth - a registered society of short filmmakers and enthusiasts.
Apart from Pandey's award-winning film, 'The Wild Meat Trail', 'Do You?', 'This Mug for Hire', 'The Miracle Water Village' and 'Mountain' - all exploring varied environmental issues - will be screened at the India Habitat Centre.
WED'11 will also have some celebrity speakers, associated with the environment space in various capacities, talk about environmental issues.
