'Call For Fun' like big budget entertainer sans stars

"Call For Fun" is like any other big budget film without the stars, says its director Janak Toprani.

The forthcoming youth centric comedy film, scripted, directed and co-produced by theatre veteran Toprani, will launch nine fresh faces. But it is backed by popular composer Lalit Pandit, editor Sanjib Datta and sound designers Alok De and Jitendra Chaudhary.

"The excellence and expertise that all four of them brought to the table was incomparable. The film has fresh faces, yet the content is novel and unique. Backed by such a strong technical team, 'Call For Fun' is like any other big budget entertainer sans the stars. We have not spared any effort in ensuring the product is top class," Toprani said in a statement.

Producer Hardik Patel feels "fresh content and talent" are the need of the hour.

"But it should be supported by a strong technical and financial support for it to succeed. We believe our film scores on that count and the audience will love this total entertainer," added Patel.

The film releases on October 6.
