So, Today is D-Day, when India's first ever spin-off 'Dil Bole Oberoi' goes on-air. The wait to the show has been a long one and the buzz surrounding the show has been huge. While 'Ishqbaaaz' is an absolute fan favorite, 'Dil Bole Oberoi' aims to set that benchmark too.

Over the past week, several questions were popped as to the Indian audience 'not' being acquainted with the idea of a 'spin-off,' which is extremely popular in the west and the fact as to why and where did this idea come from.

If 'Ishqbaaaz' was proposed to become a one-hour episode and if the same wasn't liked by the audiences, they would have switched to other shows on other channels. However, here, when the branding and the presentation of the show have been that of a different show, the idea completely changes. It is a fresh show with the same characters for the audience to look forward to. Therefore, the audience will automatically look forward to 'Ishqbaaaz' first and then wonder what 'new things' are going to happen on 'Dil Bole Oberoi.'
