As the grand finale of Bigg Boss 18 approaches on Sunday, January 19, the excitement inside the house has peaked. Ahead of the much-awaited event, an open panel discussion was held, with media personnel invited to interact with the celebrity supporters of the finalists. This marked the second time journalists entered the BB house in a week.
During the press conference, Elvish Yadav, present to support finalist Rajat Dalal, faced severe backlash from the media for his alleged "arrogant" behaviour. The tension escalated when Elvish was asked to justify Rajat Dalal's winning potential despite his controversial background and pending criminal charges.
The discussion took a heated turn when the journalists brought up the issue of media being targeted by fans of the finalists. Addressing the matter, Elvish dismissed their concerns with a controversial statement, saying, "Yeh sab paid media hi toh hai" (This is all paid media).
This remark infuriated the reporters, leading them to collectively boycott Elvish by refraining from asking him further questions during the conference.
The event also saw a star-studded lineup of celebrity representatives. Shilpa Shinde and Barkha Bisht supported Karan Veer Mehra, while producer Sandeep Sikand represented Chum Darang. Former Bigg Boss contestant Vicky Jain lent his support to Vivian Dsena. Producer Ved Raj backed Avinash Mishra, and Eisha Singh was represented by her brother, Rudraksh Singh. Elvish Yadav, the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, had come to champion Rajat Dalal's case.
With emotions running high and controversies brewing, this latest episode adds another layer of drama to Bigg Boss 18's journey to its finale.
