Bigg Boss 15's Raqesh Bapat: I know Shamita and Tejasswi don't get along, think it'll change after I enter

Bigg Boss 15 will witness the entry of wild card contestant Raqesh Bapat in the episode tonight and well, it looks like somethings might change after all. He spoke to India Forums before entering the Bigg Boss 15 house as a wild card contestant and spoke about Shamita Shetty's game, the aggression in the house, his stand, and more. What prompted you to say yes to the show?

I wanted time to wrap my head around what happened and I wanted to take some time. I guess now I am prepared, I've been seeing the show and what you saw were my genuine reaction that I had. I've seen all the episodes of what has happened and now I know how people are playing and I am in a much better space now to deal with things.

Shamita has been rather low recently, do you think this was the right time to enter the show?

Of course, I think this is the perfect time I am going. I wanted her to play her game, I didn't want it to be me and Shamita, it was important that she find her comfort in that house alone, I am proud of her the way she is playing. She has done a fab job.

You've spoken about your learnings from the show, in line with that, what changes will we see in you, especially when people are so aggressive in this house and fights are bound to happen?

What I feel is there id a lack of human interaction in the show. Like in OTT, we connected a lot, it's not just a game show, apart from the tasks, we also had a lot of fun - Neha, me, Shamita, Nishant, all of them, Divya..! We were discussing life in general, which I don't find here, so there's a lot of communication and connection somewhere and that's what is missing in the show. I hope once I go in, from there I at least tell them to connect with each other.

Who will we see you connect with apart from the BB OTT gang?

I think Simba I might connect with because I see a lot of myself in him, the way I was in the beginning of OTT, he is also confused. I think apart from him, I know Jay from before, Tejasswi I know from before, Karan, I know, not met him so often. These few people I would bond with. I have taught Tejasswi how to make Ganpati, and it's a very pure place that I know her from. So yes, I know she has a problem with Shamita, I think that'll change after I enter.

This season has a lot of violence and aggression in general. This time around, what'll we see you doing in such situations and what do you think about it?

Fights and misunderstandings in the game are gonna happen and they will continue because you know when you went to the house, it's a medium of entertainment, you can't take things lightly there. You need to play the game obviously but apart from that, I feel there's a human touch to everyone and that needs to come out. You have to play the game with heart and soul, heart and mind, it can't be just mind. You have to be real as well.

I am going to take a stand and I want to voice my opinion for sure, I am not going to shy away from it because earlier, when Bigg Boss told us to judge somebody or throw someone out, I used to shy away from it because I don't judge people like that in real life. But now I am clear that I will judge the people on their behaviour and not as a person or how they are in real life, it is something that is important to judge people since it is the format, and how they are reacting etc., and not who they are as people. 

Whose game are you liking?

I like Shamita the way she is playing for sure. I am liking how Simba is playing, he is subtle, his connections are very real, and I like real people. Shamita is real, she is inside what she is outside. These are the two people I am really fond of.
