Bigg Boss 14: Abhinav Shukla says 'We were already in a lockdown, we thought let's take it one step above'

Abhinav Shukla will be entering the house along with wife Rubina Dilaik and together, they have been seen together on multiple occasions but now, fans will get to see a new side of the actor duo. Abhinav was last seen in Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka in a negative role. We got in touch with the actor and on being asked what prompted him to take up the show, he says, ''People keep saying that the fights between us are so huge but when we see others fight, we'll feel otherwise (laughs).''

About his first thought ahead of entering the house, he reveals, ''The first thought was that we are already in lockdown in a way, so let's take it one step above and be around more people who won't be so friendly, they will be friendly initially but relationships change and we thought it is going to be a challenge if we go together and for the audiences as well.''

Ask him what does he think is going to be an advantage/disadvantage for the show, he says, ''I think the slight disadvantage is that because the housemates will see us as a team, they will try to break us and they will want to send at least one person home. The advantage is that we have an emotional support system inside. We anyway compete every day, with coffee, with scrabble, who will cook and what will we cook, what music to play, so there's a lot of it anyway and we are ready for it.''

Ask him about the new element that they will show the audiences, the actor adds, ''On a daily basis whatever arguments we have, I keep changing my accents and I keep teasing her, so that is one thing that fans don't know about and initially they'll perceive it as rude but then they'll understand that it is my sense of humour.''
