It's a wonderful moment when we get time to spend time with our brothers and sisters. It is a magical moment when we share our happiness and sorrows with each other. The fights and the patch up, the time when you have to tolerate our parent's chides for them; it's all a moment of life time.
Our Telly stars too have their moments with their sibs to share with Tellybuzz during Bhai Duj.
Harshad Chopra:
What was the one thing that you always wanted to gift your sister and you couldn't? There is nothing that I wanted to give her and she never got, because what usually happens is whenever she wants anything she just takes my credit card and goes and buys whatever she wants.
What is the longest fight that you had?
It's been long since we fought, but when we were kids I used to tease her with several names. Her name is Harsha and the only difference in our name is the letter 'D' and sometimes I used to add that 'D' in her name and say that her stuffs are now mine. When I left for my higher studies I realized how much I missed her and our time together.
One habit of your sister that you get irritated with?
I don't get irritated with any of her habits at all because she is the one who understands me very well. When everyone complains about me coming late after work she just keeps quiet and talks to me like my Dadi maa.
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
Nothing special because I just want to spend my time with her and I think, she will have to come here on the sets for that.
Rati Pandey:
What is the thing that you always wanted to ask to your brother and couldn't ask?I always wanted to know if Rakesh (Rati's brother) drank during his academic career, and later on I came to know that he did, but I was OK with it. Also I wanted to know if he was seeing someone, but then last month I came to know that he has a girlfriend and the relationship has been going on for ten years and probably next year they might get engaged. And now I want to ask him for a diamond set because I have helped him a lot in his relationship as a moderator (laughs)
Longest fight that you had with your brother?
We always have a pillow fight even now and whenever he calls me, we end up fighting and he just drops the call.
An attitude of his that has always irritated you?
He is very lazy to take bath and I have to push him several times to take a shower. Because of this habit, I have to get him all expensive perfumes to cover up the odour (Laughs).
What plans for this Bhai Duj?
I am shooting that day, but will definitely call him.
Abhinav Shukla:
What was the one thing that you always wanted to gift your sister and you couldn't? I always wanted to gift Deepanjali a two wheeler, but she was very small that time and now when she is grown up, dad gifted her with it. Hence I lost my chance to gift a two wheeler, so now I will buy whatever she wants.
What is the longest fight that you had?
We never got a chance to fight because I am here in Mumbai and the rest of the family is in Punjab and it's been eight to nine months that I have met her. This is the second Diwali without my family, in Mumbai.
One habit of your sister that you get irritated with?
There is nothing of that sort as she is very sweet.
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
I am just shooting on the day and I am expecting my gifts through courier and I will see if I could send her a gift by parcel.
Pooja Bose:
What is the thing that you always wanted to ask to your brother and couldn't ask?There is nothing that I did not get, as I have always got what I have asked for
Longest fight that you had with your brother?
This one year is the longest period that I have stayed away from my brother and I am going to meet him this year because I am off to Delhi this Diwali.
An attitude of his that has always irritated you?
We both are really stubborn and at times he doesn't listen to me when I talk and I want him to listen every time I talk to him and that really annoys me.
What plans for this Bhai Duj?
I am going to Delhi to meet my brother after a year and after that he is going abroad for a year. So I am going to keep the demands at stake till he comes back.
Vivian Dsena:
What was the one thing that you always wanted to gift your sister and you couldn't? There is nothing that I couldn't give Shivani till now because whenever my mom comes down to Mumbai every month, I send across a gift for Shivani and she never keeps a demand.
What is the longest fight that you had?
We always have the longest fights, in fact crazy fights wherein we had thrown keyboards at each other. I have not met her for a long time and I miss her a lot now and I see to it that I talk to her every weekends.
One habit of your sister that you get irritated with?
She is very stubborn regarding the things that she wants and once, my Mama had to go out at 2pm in the afternoon just to get her a Kurkure packet.
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
She is now in seventh standard and has got holidays at present, so I am hoping that she comes down to Mumbai. I am planning to buy her a cell phone for her this time.
Suhasi Goradia:
What is the thing that you always wanted to ask to your brother and couldn't ask?I am the youngest one in the family and all my brothers are very older to me, so I always got everything I wanted.
What is the longest fight that you had?
I don't fight with any of my brothers and I have always obeyed them like a good sister.
One habit of your brother that you get irritated with?
Nothing, because they are all very much elder to me, but I now irritate their kids (laughs)
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
I am going to cook for my brothers and they have to like it.
Ashish Sharma:
What was the one thing that you always wanted to gift your sister and you couldn't? There is nothing that I couldn't give Monica till now.
What is the longest fight that you had?
We had fought earlier, but those were not serious fights and now she is married so it's been ages since we fought. There was one instance where she locked me in a room when we were kids and I had to stay in there for a whole day. Later, she was beaten up by my mom when she returned home.
One habit of your sister that you get irritated with?
She blabbers a lot and since I am a silent person, I used to get annoyed with this character of hers.
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
There are no special plans as of now but I am planning to call her on the day.
Shweta Gulati:
What is the thing that you always wanted to ask to your brother and couldn't ask?There are loads and loads of things that I wanted to ask him, nothing materialistic but I don't want to ask it right now because he is married now and has a kid. But one thing I want to ask is whether he will stand by me whenever I want him.
What is the longest fight that you had?
We used to have physical fights and once it ended up with us not talking for two years.
One habit of your brother that you get irritated with?
He is a person who is happy in his own world and he never explores his life. He is just twenty five and he has his wife and child and I am happy for that. But I really want him to enjoy his life and travel different places because this is the time for him to enjoy.
What are your plans for Bhai Duj?
We had not planned anything as of now, but we will meet either at his place or mine and I will definitely buy something for him.
