Beyonce accused of fraud for naming her daughter Blue Ivy

A wedding planner has initiated a legal battle against Beyonce for naming her daughter Blue Ivy. She says that she has been battling for the Blue Ivy trademark for years

.

As the world already knows, the name of Beyonce's first daughter is Blue Ivy. There are however, legal battles going on as she has been accused of fraud for the same. Yes, you read it right. A wedding planner named Veronica Morales is accusing Beyonce of fraud for naming her daughter Blue Ivy.

As per the claims of Veronica Morales, she has been using the name Blue Ivy for her business since years and is now fighting legally with Beyonce since 2017. Morales claim that Beyonce has committed fraud by submitting a sworn declaration to the United States Patent and Trademark Office sharing that she had "a bona fide intention" to use the Blue Ivy Carter trademark in business, reports celebrityinsider.org

She has also made allegations that Beyonce has failed to provide critical documents with evidence of how she intended to use the trademark in the first place. She also mentioned that Beyonce is now trying to get her hands on the "coveted trademark fraudulently".

As per the allegations of Morales, Beyonce has apparently been very detached from the case in general, refusing to respond to various inquiries related to it and acting inappropriately. Morales even said that rapper and Beyonce's husband Jay-Z even spoke to Vanity Fair admitting they had no intention of using the Blue Ivy mark to sell products but wanted to prevent others from profiting.

Now Morales believe that Beyonce never intended to use the trade mark, she just wants no one else to use it too.
