With three days into the month of December, we have already presented the categories of new shows and promising female debutants. And as the title suggests, this year also witnessed male debutants that entered the TV industry with a bang.

It is a known fact that Indian television has an array of women centric shows, where this year, too, had several female debutants apart from shortlisting the best ones. Contrastingly, the number of male debutants were lesser and we shortlist the faces that entered the industry and have left a mark.

Prince Narula

This year can certainly be termed to be one of the 'best years' in actor/reality show personality, Prince Narula's life. Beginning the year by winning 'Bigg Boss Double Trouble,' he made a name for himself. And just when we thought that what is next for him, Prince featured as a judge on 'Roadies X4' where he was a contestant previously. And finally, he made his fiction TV debut in a lead role with the comedy-drama, 'Badho Bahu', where his role is being appreciated.

Karan Vohra

His show, 'Zindagi Ki Mahek' may not be amongst the frontrunners or TRP toppers, the show is being appreciated by a niche audience. And amidst all that, if someone has managed to make his presence felt, then that is actor, Karan Vohra, who made his debut with the show in a lead role. His personality and sleek portrayal of character is a treat for many.

Nikitin Dheer

Over the years, we have seen several Bollywood biggies turning to small screen. From the likes of Amitabh Bachchan to Anil Kapoor, many actors have made their fiction appearances on TV. And joining this bandwagon this year was actor Nikitin Dheer, who is a prime face on the film circuit. Nikitin made his debut with 'Nagarjun - Ek Yoddha' playing the antagonist. The actor was embroiled in a controversy, where he quit the show but returned after settling issues.

Danish Akhtar and Kartik Jayaram

In one-of-a-kind instances, we are including two debutants in this category as they belong to the same show. Wrestler-turned-actor, Danish Akhtar and South Indian actor, Kartik Jayaram made their Hindi TV debuts this year with the mythological epic, 'Siya Ke Ram'. While Kartik wowed with his portrayal of the iconic Ravan, Danish also managed to leave a mark with his performance as Hanuman.

Satyadeep Mishra

When we talk about leaving an impact, we truly mean it. And who better than actor, Satyadeep Mishra to justify the same! Satyadeep has been around for a long time, being a part of theatre and films. However, he finally made his TV fiction debut with the Nikhil Advani directed series, 'P.O.W. - Bandi Yuddh Ke'. The show is currently one of the most critically acclaimed shows; while the veteran cast is wowing one and all, Satyadeep, too, stand out as Imaan Khan.

Kinshuk Vaidya

From being the adorable Sanju in the cult show, Shakalaka Boom Boom' to becoming a handsome hunk after growing up; Kinshuk Vaidya was expected to return to television soon and it finally happened. Kinshuk made his fiction debut as an adult with Kavita Barjatya's 'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka'. Kinshuk. Unlike several other actors, he did not choose to debut with a conventional show and rather chose the Barjatya style with Ek Rishta..'. And needless to say, he has aced the role of Aryan and is going stronger than ever.

While this year had a few number of male actors making their TV debuts, it goes without saying that they were impactful.
