Best Of Bollywood Style Moments From Cannes

As the Cannes Film Festival Palace turns into a shelter for the homeless, here's looking at those special times when Bollywood divas swamped the carpet with their style only to be remembered by us forever.

The Festival Palace at Cannes, France which once saw varied celebrities arriving from different terrains to own up the carpet with their glam best avatars has turned into a shelter for the homeless now.

As the breath taking French Rivera rolls-up it’s sleeve to fight the coronavirus pandemic, here’s our style desk looking at all those times when our Bollywood divas swamped the carpet with their sartorial picks and got etched in our memories.

A Cannes regular, Aishwarya Rai wore a yellow saree custom made by Neeta Lulla for her debut on the prestigious carpet. Next is Aish's extravagant Cinderella moment courtesy Dubai based designer Michael Cinco.

In 2018 when Deepika Padukone sizzled the carpet wearing a ruffled design by Ashi Studio. Following the same style, Deepika swamped the carpet with a lime-green Giambattista Valli design.

Meet the desi girl, who has always captivated the Cannes carpet with chic gowns. The most memorable being the one on left, an Oscar Dela Renta design and on right a pink sweetheart neck Michael Angel design.

Throwback to last year when our true blue desi girl, Priyanka Chopra wore a black strapless Roberto Cavalli creation and a white wedding gown from Georges Hobeika to swamp the carpet with her style.

Sonam Kapoor in 2013 wearing a tea-cup inspired gown from Dolce & Gabanna, while in 2015 our favourite style seer wore an Ellie Saab couture.

It always fills our hearts with pride when Bollywood actors own international red-carpets with their style. How do you feel when you see them on the carpet? Let us know your answers in the comments below....
