Edin Rose, a recent participant in Bigg Boss 18, has shared a horrific incident that took place in Mumbai. The actress-model took to her Instagram stories to recount the unsettling experience of being followed by a drunk man. She revealed that despite recording a video of him, he continued to follow her, undeterred.

“I have been living in Mumbai since 2020, and never have I ever felt unsafe in this city—no matter the time of night or how I was dressed. But to clear the air, I was wearing a full tracksuit, as you can see, along with a mask. This means that except for my fingers and eyes, nothing else was visible. I have to mention this before the ‘clothing police’ come here to school me on my outfit,” she wrote.

Sharing details of the disturbing incident, Edin added, “A friend and I were traveling in a rickshaw from Juhu to Bandra, like we often do to relax and get some air after a long day of work. Sometimes people recognize us even with our masks on, but today, that wasn’t the case. A man in a Jaguar, clearly intoxicated, followed us for 20 minutes, swerving from right to left. He was drunk and determined to go wherever we were headed.”

She further expressed concern over the man’s reckless behavior, stating, “This man not only jeopardized everyone’s safety on the road with his drunk driving but also made sure we knew he wasn’t going to back off. Even after we recorded his face and number plate, he remained persistent. Matlab kya? Tu Dubai tak, ghar tak chhodega mujhe ya kya?”

Highlighting the need for better safety measures for women in Mumbai, Edin urged people to focus on more pressing social issues. “Sab jo latent latent kar rahe ho, aurat ki suraksha par dhyan do. This man was in a Jaguar, clearly came from money, and yet had the audacity to be a relentless creep—even when he knew he was being recorded.”
