BB 16: Tina Datta's mother slams Sumbul's father as we head into Shukravaar Ka Vaar

Bigg Boss has always been a game of opinions and voicing them out. In the past contestants have gone all out to express and fight with verbatim. But as it’s said this sixteenth edition of Bigg Boss is different, this has been proven time and again. Recently, an ugly incident happened where Sumbul Toqueer Khan’s father went ugly on national television abusing Tina Datta and maligning her character. After a hiatus of revolt from the audience of Bigg Boss, and a video reply from Tina’s mother on social media, we heard of Tina and Shalin’s parents being called on the Weekend Ka Var.

In a panel of discussion alongside Sumbul’s father, Tina's mother and Shalin’s parents had a precise verbal banter over several topics of the game, prime being the ugly commentary of Mr Toqueer. While Sumbul’s father spoke of women empowerment. We hear that Tina’s mother gave a befitting reply to Sumbul’s father’s hypocritical remarks. She told him that where women (girl child) are worshipped in India, someone like Toqueer Khan is demeaning and insulting a girl on national television.  Question him, if such are the values that he is imparting in his daughter… She also said they’ve not sent their children to a kindergarten, it’s Bigg Boss!

Tina too was agitated after she learnt the remarks passed by Sumbul’s father. She said that even she is someone’s daughter and just to save your own daughter no one has a right to character assassinate someone else’s daughter.
