Barun Sobti is on a ROLL; signs yet another project

The many millions of fans of heartthrob actor, Barun Sobti were in for an exciting time, when their favourite one made his much-awaited comeback to TV last year, and that too in the beloved franchise of Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?

Unfortunately, for the actor and the makers, the viewers did not seem to accept the change that the show presented, along with the casting of Shivani Tomar instead of Sanaya Irani.

The result was that the show was rather short-lived and went off-air in a mere 3 months.

Nevertheless, that was a while ago and things have now changed completely, where the actor is already on the lookout for interesting projects. Infact, it was only a while ago that we reported on how Barun will be seen in Alt Balaji's upcoming show, co-starring Kay Kay Menon.

But, before that happens, let's just say, you certainly will be watching Barun on the web space way before in another web project.

Yes! That's right. Barun will be seen in an upcoming short film, produced by Mohona Films, titled Karma.

Set in the beautiful location of Manali, the film will also be starring actress, Shiny Dixit, who is best known for her character in Zindagi Ki Mehek.

And you know what's the catch? The film is a silent film (no dialogues). Exploring the journey of a man, who seems to believe in the saying, 'as you sow, so shall you reap', the premise is certainly an intriguing one.

The shoot for the film has already been completed.

It is expected to go live on Voot, at the soonest.
