Balika Vadhu actor Harsh Mehta joins the cast of THIS upcoming Sony TV show!

Earlier we reported that producer Siddharth Kumar Tewary is coming up with Chandragupta Maurya on Sony TV. Porus is apparently weaving into a totally new show Chandragupta Maurya and Karmaphaldata Shani fame Karthikeya Malviya will be seen essaying the titular character.

The promos of the show are out and looks magnanimous and promising. We hear that Colors' Balika Vadhu fame Harsh Mehta has been roped in for the show. He will reportedly play the role of Chandragupta's friend Indrajanik and will be a magician possessing special powers.

Harsh Mehta has earlier been part of shows like Fanaah and Chakradhari Ajay Krishna.

The show's plot will start after the death of Porus, when Chanakya will take an oath to find a ruler who would unite whole Bharat making it Akhand Bharat. As informed earlier, Chanakya will be played by Tarun Khanna.
